SAILING FAREWELL



The Spanish navy training ship Juan Sebastian de Elcano, named after the first man to circumnavigate the earth, sailed from Narragan­sett Bay on Wednesday afternoon. The tall ship was visiting Newport as part of its 85th training cruise. The vessel will sail a total of about 11,500 nautical miles on its 100-day voyage.
