POLICE LOG

From May 21 to May 27, the Jamestown Police Department re­sponded to 529 calls for service. Officers performed 188 security checks of vacant homes and busi­nesses.

Police also responded to 19 emergency calls, 13 animal com­plaints, two parking complaints and nine alarms. There were 74 traffic stops, resulting in five ar­rests and 32 traffic citations. Thirty of the tickets were issued by offi­cers assigned to a state enforce­ment program.

Larceny

Kenneth F. Camadeco, 58, of Narragansett Avenue, Jamestown, was charged May 21 with larceny under $1,500. The defendant was transported to the police station where he was processed. A court date was scheduled for May 22.

License

• Maya L. Almeida, 27, of Southern Street, Cranston, was charged May 23 with driving with a suspended license. According to police, the defendant was stopped on Southwest Avenue. Almeida was transported to the police sta­tion where she was processed and released. A court date was sched­uled for May 31.

• Kathleen Delorey-Brown, 44, of Baldwin Court, was charged May 24 with driving with an ex­pired license. According to police, the defendant was stopped on Fort Getty Road. Delorey-Brown was issued a citation and released. A court date was scheduled for June 21.

• Melvin R. Reyes, 29, of Rye Street, Providence, was charged May 26 with driving with an ex­pired license. According to po­lice, the defendant was stopped on Tashtassuc Road. Reyes was issued a citation and released. A court date was scheduled for June 6.

• Alexander J. Anusavice 21, of Cedar Avenue, East Greenwich, was charged May 26 with driv­ing with a suspended license. Ac­cording to police, the defendant was stopped on Tashtassuc Road. Anusavice was transported to the police station where he was pro­cessed and released. A court date was scheduled for June 6.
