Cool down at library Thursday and Friday

The R.I. Emergency Management Agency has named the Jamestown Philomenian Library as a cooling center. Due to forecasted heat and humidity, the state designates pubic buildings across the state for people who don’t have an air conditioner in their homes. The Jamestown cooling center is open Thursday, July 19, from noon to 8 p.m., and Friday, July 20, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
