Islanders recognized for academic excellence
• Cheryl Barber, a member of the class of 2013 at Trinity College in Connecticut, received faculty honors for the 2013 spring semester. To be recognized by the faculty, a student must achieve a GPA of 3.7 or above.
• Andrew Waddington recently was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Loyola University in Maryland. In order to be recognized by the dean, students must have a GPA of at least 3.5. He is a member of the class of 2015.
• Haley Autumn Rotondo was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Assumption College in Massachusetts. To make the list, students must have a GPA of 3.5 or higher. She is a member of the class of 2015.
• Twenty-two Jamestown residents were named to the spring semester dean’s list at the University of Rhode Island. They were Carla Aveledo, Kathryn Bednarczyk, Jessica Brown, Kellie Brown, Ivy Burns, Alexander Clarke, Sarah Crowell, Mackenzie Damon, Russell Dunn, Allison Farrelly, Alexander Gorelick, Megan Greene, Rory Kirby, Mitchell MacQueen, Shay Lynn Reilly, Andrew Sakovits, Thomas Scartabello, Amanda Seidler, Sarah Smith, James Stewart, Richard Sylvia, Cameron Toppa, Marshall Vigneault and Molly Welsh. To be included on the Dean’s List, students must have a GPA of 3.3 or above.
