Don’t miss upcoming one-man show at JAC

Jon Peterson will be back in Jamestown to perform his one-man show, “Song Man, Dance Man.” I urge those who saw his last show, and those who missed it, to come to the Jamestown Arts Center on Thursday, Aug. 15, at 8 p.m. to see the updated version, which is performed without children.

Jon sings, dances and acts his way through musical numbers that belonged at one time to George Cohan, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Bobby Darin and Anthony Newley. According to New York City critic Rex Reed, “Jon Peterson is the real Billy Elliott.”

Jon starred on Broadway in the second round of the show, “Cabaret,” and toured with the international and national companies of the same production. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at Baker’s, online at the arts center’s website, or at the door if tickets still are available. Jon will remain after the show to meet attendees.

Hope to see you there.
