Save your appetite on Sunday, Aug. 18, and head to Junction Trattoria at 1051 Ten Rod Road in North Kingstown. The pizza fundraiser is to benefit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund. Members of the Jamestown team – Just Wings – will be your waiters from 4 to 8 p.m. The full menu will be available. Proceeds from dine-in and take-out orders will benefit Just Wings as they walk the Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund event for the 8th time in September. They have raised over $104,000 for research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute but the fight for a cure isn’t over. If you’d like to donate but can’t attend, go to JimmyFund Walk.org and search for Vicki Schmidt’s team.
