Jacqueline Amato McCue

Jacqueline Amato McCue, 84, of Jamestown, passed away Aug. 20, 2013, at Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island. She was the wife of the late John S. McCue of Jamestown for 23 years until his death in 2009. She leaves her son, Charles Amato of Western Kentucky, son of the late Mario Amato of New York; sister Bobbie Moore of California; two nephews; one grandnephew; three stepchildren and three step-grandchildren.

Born in Los Angeles, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Rose Breacher. She was employed at the Newport naval base for many years before retiring. She was an active spouse participant in the SAR, Society of Colonial Wars and Founders and Patriots.

A prayer service and burial was held in the R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery chapel in Exeter. Donations to Home & Hospice Care of Rhode Island are welcomed.
