Funds raised will go toward Scout camps

Jamestown Cub Scout Pack 1 would like to thank the Jamestown Soccer Association, McQuade’s Market and the East Ferry Deli for supporting our fall popcorn fundraiser. With their help, the pack raised $1,700 to support camping and service project programs.

Part of the proceeds also go to support the Narragansett Council’s scout camps throughout Rhode Island. The Cub Scouts would also like to thank the town of Jamestown for letting the pack camp at the Conanicut Battery in early October. Seventy-five Scouts, parents and siblings enjoyed a campfire, storytelling and a late-season thunderstorm.

Boys in first through fifth grade are welcome to join Cub Scouting any time of the year. For more information, contact me at james townpack1@gmail.com.
