Thank you for helping with holiday book sale

On behalf of the trustees and myself, I want to express our gratitude to all those who made the library’s holiday book sale a great success. It all begins with the many wonderful donations from so many library lovers, to the staff who boxes the books and carries them both up and down from the library basement.

Also thanks to volunteers Dee Hellewell, Holly Turton, Diane Stover, Marcia Wirth, Diana Luth and Judith Bell for inspecting and sorting the books for the sale. In addition, thanks to the Friends of Jamestown Library who fill the salesclerk positions, and offer free gift wrapping, cookies and cider.

I especially would like to thank the young ladies who arrived early in the morning to wrap gifts: Caroline and Isabel Montminy- Crabtree, and Moira, Alison and Katie Flath. A special thank you to Benjamin Thomas for thinking of the library.

Look for our spring book sale and come in to see the new reading chairs purchased with funds from our summer book sale.
