ZONING BOARD OF REVIEW
NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE JAMESTOWN ZONING BOARD OF REVIEW WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING FEBRUARY 25, 2014, AT THE JAMESTOWN TOWN HALL 93 NARRAGANSETT AVENUE, JAMESTOWN, RHODE ISLAND AT 7:00 P.M. UPON THE FOLLOWING:

Appeal of Don E. Wineberg, et al, relating to property which is located at 334 Beavertail Rd., and further identified as Assessor’s Plat 12, Lot 41 pursuant to Article 5, Section 82-501 and 503 and RI Gen. Laws §45-24-54 and 57 to appeal:

1. The failure of the Jamestown
Zoning Enforcement officer
to respond within fifteen (15)
days to written requests for
information, guidance and
clarification dated August 15
and November 8, 2013 concerning what uses of 334
Beavertail Rd. are permitted and prohibited under the
Jamestown Zoning Ordinance;

The hear and decide whether
the May 1, 2013 handwritten letter sent by the Zoning
Enforcement officer and
addressed “To whom it may
concern” constitutes a zoning
certificate in accordance with
the zoning ordinance and the
extent to which said letter constitutes a zoning approval for
the operation of a winery on
the premises of 334 Beavertail
Rd; and
3. Pursuant to applicable state
law and local ordinance, for
the Zoning Board of Review
to provide the information
and clarification sought by the
Appellants in their August 15
and November 8, 2013 letters
to the Zoning Enforcement
officer.

Application of Mains’l Properties, LLC, owner & Joseph P. McGrady, Jr. and Maria McGrady, applicant. Property located at 244-252 Narragansett Ave., and further identified as Assessor’s Plat 8, Lots 2, 463 & 597for a variance from Article 3, Table 3-2 (District Dimensional Regulations) to construct an addition to the existing dwelling which will be 14.85 ft. from the easterly property line, 20 ft. being required, and an addition to the existing boat shed which will be 19.20 ft. from the southerly lot line, 30 ft. being required. Said property is located in a CW zone and contains 31,184 sq. ft. of land.
