Olive A. (Moore) Colby
(Moore) Colby, 95, of East Greenwich, passed away surrounded by her loving family at Saint Elizabeth Home in East Greenwich on March 14, 2014. She was the wife of the late James Colby.
Born in Hampton, N.H., she was a daughter of the late Christopher and Grayce M. Moore.
Olive was formerly employed as a housekeeper for a local physician in New Hampshire. Throughout her life she enjoyed camping and square dancing.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Cheryol Gentile of Jamestown; a brother, Marland Moore of Hampton, N.H.; three granddaughters, Charlene Ryerson and Cherrilynn Bisbano, both of Warwick, and Jessie Dutra of Jamestown; three great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Olive was predeceased by two siblings, Christopher Moore Jr. and Marion Leach.
Visiting hours are omitted. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside funeral service on Saturday, March 22, at 11 a.m. in First Hopkinton Cemetery, Chase Hill Road, Hopkinton.
