Islanders honored at college-prep schools

• Caroline Dunn-Packer, a member of the Pomfret School class of 2016, was recently named to the honor roll for the winter term. To be recognized, students must achieve a GPA of at least 3.0 with no grade below a B-. Pomfret is a college-preparatory boarding school in Connecticut with an enrollment of less than 400 students.

• Jackson Hawkins earned high honors at Tabor Academy for his academic performance during the first half of the school year. Students must earn a grade average of 90 or better during the first two quarters to be recognized. Jackson is a freshman at the college-preparatory school located in Marion, Mass.
