NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE JAMESTOWN ZONING BOARD OF REVIEW WILL HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING May 27, 2014, AT THE JAMESTOWN TOWN HALL 93 NARRAGANSETT AVENUE, JAMESTOWN, RHODE ISLAND AT 7:00 P.M. UPON THE FOLLOWING:
Application of Winifred & Stephen LaMothe, whose property is located at 14 Florida Ave., and further identified as Assessor’s Plat 8, Lot 341 for a variance from Article
3, Table 3-2 (District Dimensional Regulations) to construct an open deck which will be 19’ from the rear lot line (westerly), wherein 30’ is required. Said property is located in a R20 zone and contains 4,318 sq. ft.

REqUEST FOR PROPOSALS Conanicut Battery National Historic Site And Town Park Vegetation Management
The Town of Jamestown is accepting proposals from qualified historic park landscape contractors for the seasonal maintenance of the Conanicut Battery Historic Park, South Battery Lane, Jamestown,
Rhode Island. The area to be managed comprises Assessors Plat 11, Lot 11 and includes the existing trails, the field, and the historic battery earthwork. The site totals 22 acres. A bid package may be picked up at the Town of Jamestown, second floor Planning Office, 93 Narragansett Avenue or e-mailed from email@example.com which includes a map of the site, the areas to be managed and the expected frequency of maintenance. All contractors will be required to attend a mandatory site visit scheduled for May 12, 2014 at 1pm.
Qualifications of the landscaper
and/or firm will be considered in selection in addition to demonstrating ability to maintain the unique historic revolutionary war era earthwork. Negotiation of price and/or scope may be necessary to conform to budget considerations. The maintenance shall begin in May and continue until the middle of October.
