JAMESTOWN PHILOMENIAN LIBRARY ALL PROGRAMS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Storytime for 2-5 Year Olds Monday, June 20 10:15-11 a.m.
and Wednesday, June 22 11:15 a.m. to noon.
Join us for story time for 2-5 year olds along with their parents or caregivers, in a
program featuring books, songs, finger plays, and a craft activity.

Mother Goose Time Wednesday, May 18 10:15-10:45 a.m.
This play-based program featuring nursery rhymes, finger plays, songs and books
for children from birth to 2 years along with a parent or caregiver.

Lego Club Thursday, June 23 3 p.m.
Children of all ages are invited to Lego Club. Participants 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult, even if an older sibling is present. Registration not required.

Local Author Talk Thursday, June 16 7 p.m.
“Historic Tales of Jamestown.” The Jamestown Library is honored to host two renowned Island authors. Sue Maden and Rosemary Enright will read from their
newest release.

Tuesday Matinee at the Library Tuesday, June 21 1:30 p.m.
“45 Years” — There is just one week until Kate Mercer’s 45th wedding anniversary
and the planning for the party is going well. Then a letter arrives for her husband.
The body of his first love has been discovered, frozen and preserved in the icy glaciers of the Swiss Alps. By the time the party is upon them, five days later, there
may not be a marriage left to celebrate. R Drama 1 hr. 33 min.

Thank you to all who have generously donated their gently used books for the
annual summer book sale. As of 2 p.m. June 18, the library will no longer accept
book donations for the sale. We will resume accepting book donations Sept. 6.
