JAMESTOWN PHILOMENIAN LIBRARY ALL PROGRAMS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Storytime for 2-5 Year Olds Monday, March 13 10:15-11 a.m. and Wednesday, March 15 • 11:15 a.m. to noon Children, along with their parents or caregivers, participate in a 45-minute program featuring books, songs, finger plays, and a craft activity.

Mother Goose Time Wednesday, March 15 • 10:15-10:45 a.m. This 30-minute, play-based program features nursery rhymes, finger plays, songs and books for children from birth to 2 years along with a parent or caregiver.

Grades 7 + Book Club Wednesday, March 15 • 3-4 p.m Scythe by Neal Shusterman

The Friends of Jamestown Library Present: The Slackwater String Band with Ed McGuirl and Tom Perrotti Sunday, March 12 • 3-4:30 p.m. Slackwater String Band is a folk music trio featuring Mike Fischman, Ed McGuirl and Tom Perrotti. The band plays an eclectic acoustic mix including originals, Celtic tunes, country blues, and its own take on Jamaican music called AmeriMento.

Author Talk: Meet Romance Author Marie Force Thursday, March 9 • 7-8 p.m. The Friends of the Library will be hosting Rhode Island-native Marie Force as part of our Author Talk Series. Marie Force is a New York Times bestselling author of more than 50 contemporary romances, including the Gansett Island Series,

Knitting instruction and assistance with Nancy Mowbray. Monday, March 13 • 2-4 p.m. Drop-ins are welcome. Sponsored by the Friends of Jamestown Library.

Tuesday Matinee Tuesday, March 14 • 1:30-3:30 p.m. Hacksaw Ridge - Andrew Garfield, Sam Worthington - Rated R - Drama/History/ War - 139 min - 2016. World War II American Army Medic Desmond T.
