Storytime for 2-5 Year Olds Monday, April 3 10:15-11 a.m. and Wednesday, April 5 • 11:15 a.m. to noon Children, along with their parents or caregivers, participate in a 45-minute program featuring books, songs, finger plays, and a craft activity.

Mother Goose Time Wednesday, April 5 • 10:15-10:45 a.m. This 30-minute, play-based program features nursery rhymes, finger plays, songs and books for children from birth to 2 years along with a parent or caregiver.

Lego Thursdays Thursday, March 30 and April 6 • 3-4 p.m. Children of all ages are invited to Lego Club. Participants 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult, even if an older sibling is present.

Book Club Grades 3-4 Wednesday, April 5 • 3-4 p.m. Julie of the Wolves by Jean Craighead George – a moving story of an Eskimo girl’s courage and the will to survive in potentially alien worlds.

Jamestown Chess Club with Mark Carnevale. Wednesday • 7-10 p.m. Long-time chess enthusiast Mark Carnevale will host the club at the library every Wednesday through May. Chess improves memory, creativity, strategic and critical thinking for lifelong mental health. Instruction, coaching and mentoring for all levels of experience, open to ages 13 and above. Drop-ins welcome.

Pat Sumner’s “The Color Club” Thursday • 1-3 p.m. An adult activity that encourages fun, relaxation, a chance to de-stress, and be a kid again. Coloring books and pencils are provided.
