JAMESTOWN PHILOMENIAN LIBRARY ALL PROGRAMS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Preschool Story Time Monday, May 1, 10:15-11 a.m. and Wednesday, May 3 11:15 a.m. to noon Storytime for 2-5-year-olds along with their parents or caregivers, in a 45-minute program featuring books, songs, finger plays, and a craft activity.

Mother Goose Time • Wednesday, May 3, 10:15-10:45 a.m. “Mother Goose Time”, a 30 minute, play-based program featuring nursery rhymes, finger plays, songs and books for children from birth to 2 years along with a parent or caregiver.

Book Club – Grades 3 & 4 • Wednesday, May 3, 3-4 p.m. This month we will be discussing The False Prince by Jennifer A. Nielsen.

Favorite Poem Project • Thursday, April 27, 7-9 p.m. Gather with others and read your favorite poems (not poems that you have written). Share why you love the poem and connect with others. Part of a national initiative founded by former poet laureate Robert Pinsky.

Wendy’s Workshop – Fairy Lights – program full • Sunday, April 30, 2-4 p.m. Come make fairy lights for your spring table! Please let us know if you are not going to come so that we can call the next person on the waitlist.

Technology Help • Monday, May 1, 3:30-4:30 p.m. Please register for a one-on-one appointment to help go over your tech issues. No problem is too small to bring to the library! Sign up at the front desk or register online.

Tuesday Matinee • Tuesday, May 2, 1:30-3:30 p.m. La La Land - Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Rosemarie DeWitt - Rated PG-13 – 128 min. – Musical/Drama/Comedy - 2016 Mia, a struggling actress, and Sebastian, a struggling jazz pianist, fall for each other amidst their differences. Documented through musical numbers and beautiful scenery, the two try to stay connected as both of their career paths begin to steer away from each other.
