Band will release new CD during farm show

Tres Moutarde will perform music from the early 20th century beginning at 1 p.m. June 10 at the Jamestown Community Farm, 40 Eldred Ave.

The two-hour concert coincides with the release of the band’s new album, “American Music for Small Orchestra from Another Time.” The repertoire includes “Who Paid the Rent for Mrs. Rip Van Winkle” by Bing Crosby and “Rear Admiral Wood One-Step,” written in 1918 for the former Jamestown U.S. Navy officer.

There will be light refreshments and CDs available during the free concert. Band members are vocalist Bill Knapp, pianist Janet Grant, flutist Cheryl Rebecchi, violinist Mary Moroney and clarinetists Bob Saunders, Fred Basso and Tom Pederson.
