JAMESTOWN PHILOMENIAN LIBRARY ALL PROGRAMS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Storytime for 2-5 Year Olds Monday, June 5 10:15-11 a.m. and Wednesday, June 7 • 11:15 a.m. to noon Children, along with their parents or caregivers, participate in a 45-minute program featuring books, songs, finger plays, and a craft activity.

Mother Goose Time Wednesday, June 7 • 10:15-10:45 a.m. This 30-minute, play-based program features nursery rhymes, finger plays, songs and books for children from birth to 2 years along with a parent or caregiver.

Lego Thursdays Thursday, June 1 and 8 • 3-4 p.m. Children of all ages are invited to Lego Club. Participants 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult, even if an older sibling is present.

The Friends of Jamestown Library and the Jamestown Water Initiative Saturday, June 3 • 10-11:30 a.m. Gardening in a Drought with Roger Marshall Spend the morning with Roger and find out if your garden is drought proof, and if not, some of the things that you can do to improve the chances that your garden will survive to bloom and grow another year.

Tuesday Matinee Tuesday, June 6 • 1:30-4 p.m. Loving PG-13 | 2h 3min | Biography, Drama | Ruth Negga, Joel Edgerton, Will Dalton The story of Richard and Mildred Loving, a couple whose arrest for interracial marriage in 1960s Virginia began a legal battle that would end with the Supreme Court’s historic 1967 decision.
