Earl T. Culp

CULP CULP Earl T. Culp, 88, of Jamestown, passed away peacefully June 8, 2017.

He was the loving husband of the late Irma D. Culp.

Born in Hazelton, Pa., he was the son of the late Paul and Vesta (Bommer) Culp.

Earl was an air traffic controller in the U.S. Navy on the USS Randolph. He worked for the Federal Aviation Administration for 30 years before retiring as chief controller of Quonset TRACON, also working as a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker for many years. He was a master gardener and loved growing vegetables.

He is survived by his son, Donald E. Culp, and daughter Diane C. Alexander; son-in-law Bill and loving grandchildren Brian and Kevin Alexander; brothers Elwood Culp and the late Robert Culp.

Visiting hours in memory of Earl and Irma will be celebrated from 5-7 p.m. June 15 in Avery- Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Services and burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Earl and Irma’s memory to the Village House Nursing & Rehab, Activities Department, 70 Harrison Ave, Newport, RI 02840, or a charity of your choice.
