Grades 1-2 Book Club: Nate the Great Wednesday, Sept. 6 3-4 p.m. We will be reading Nate the Great by Marjorie Weisman Sharmat. Snacks are provided! “When Annie tells him about her missing painting, Nate the Great and his trusted companion, Sam Spade, set out to investigate, gather clues, and solve the mystery.”

Lego Thursdays — Thursday, Sept. 7 3-4 p.m. Children of all ages are invited to attend a one-hour session of the informal Lego Club. We have a theme each week and build on that theme. Lego creaons are then displayed in the library for the following week. Participants 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

When their country is invaded by the Nazis, Jan and Antonina are forced to report to the Reich’s newly appointed chief zoologist, Lutz Heck. The Zabinskis covertly begin working with the Resistance and put into action plans to save the lives of hundreds from what has become the Warsaw Ghetto.
