JAMESTOWN PHILOMENIAN LIBRARY ALL PROGRAMS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Mother Goose Time Wednesday, Sept. 13 10:15-10:45 a.m. Join us for “Mother Goose Time,” a play-based program featuring nursery rhymes, finger plays, songs and books for children from birth to 2 years along with a parent or caregiver.

Grades 3-4 Book Club: Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White Wednesday, Sept. 13 3-4 p.m. We will discuss the book for 45 min. and spend the last 15 min. voting for the next month’s book.

Lego Thursdays — Thursday, Sept. 7 and 14 3-4 p.m. Children of all ages are invited to attend a one-hour session of the informal Lego Club. We have a theme each week. Lego creations are then displayed in the library. Participants 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Little Rhody Thrummers, the RI Chapter of the Association of Traditional Rug Hooking Artists Saturday, Sept. 9 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be from 11 to 2 p.m. If you would like to learn more about this traditional art, sign-up for the introduction class from 11 a.m. to noon.
