JAMESTOWN PHILOMENIAN LIBRARY ALL PROGRAMS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Mother Goose Time Wednesday, Sept. 27 10:15-10:45 a.m. Join us for “Mother Goose Time,” a play-based program featuring nursery rhymes, finger plays, songs and books for children from birth to 2 years along with a parent or caregiver.

Preschool Story Time Monday, Sept. 25 10:15-11 a.m. and Wednesday, Sept. 27 11:15 a.m. to noon Featuring books, songs, finger plays, and a craft activity. this 45-minute program is for 2-5-year-olds along with a parent or caregiver.

Grades 7 and Up Book Club: City of Ember by Jeanne DuPrau Wednesday, Sept. 27 3-4 p.m. We will discuss the book for 45 min. and spend the last 15 min. voting for the next month’s book. Snacks provided! Please register for this program.

Lego Thursdays Thursday, Sept. 21 and 28 3-4 p.m. Children of all ages are invited to attend a one-hour session of the informal Lego Club. We have a theme each week. Lego creations are then displayed in the library. Participants 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Needles Galore Knitting Group Monday, Sept. 25 2:30-4:30 p.m. Knitting instruction for all skill levels with Nancy Mowbry. Drop-ins and newcomers welcome. Funded by the Friends of Jamestown Library.

Monday Night Mystery Book Discussion Monday, Sept. 25 7-8 p.m. A Corpse in the Koryo by James Church Brown Bag Lunch Book Discussion Tuesday, Sept. 26 Noon to 1 p.m. Avid Reader by Robert Gottlieb

Tuesday Matinee – Born in China — Tuesday, Sept. 26 1:30-3:30 p.m. Following the stories of three animal families, a doting panda bear mother, a golden monkey and a mother snow leopard. Witness some of the most intimate moments ever captured in a nature film.
