JAMESTOWN PHILOMENIAN LIBRARY ALL PROGRAMS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Mother Goose Time Wednesday, Oct. 4 10:15-10:45 a.m. Join us for “Mother Goose Time,” a play-based program featuring nursery rhymes, finger plays, songs and books for children from birth to 2 years along with a parent or caregiver.

Preschool Story Time Monday, Oct. 2 10:15-11 a.m. and Wednesday, Oct. 4 11:15 a.m. to noon Featuring books, songs, finger plays, and a craft activity. this 45-minute program is for 2-5-year-olds along with a parent or caregiver.

Grades 1-2 Book Club: A Fine, Fine School by Sharon Creech Wednesday, Oct. 4 3-4 p.m. We will discuss the book for 45 min. and spend the last 15 min. voting for the next month’s book. Snacks provided! Please register for this program.

Lego Thursday Drop-In Thursday, Sept. 28 and Oct. 5 3-5 p.m. Children of all ages are invited to attend a drop-in session of the informal Lego Club. Build for 20 minutes or for 2 hours! Lego creations are then displayed in the library. Participants 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

After-School 3D Design and Printing Mondays and Wednesdays, Oct. 2, 4, 11, 16, 18, 23 and 25 4-6 p.m. For grades 5 and up. Class size is limited. Please register at Jamestown Philomenian Library.

Tuesday Matinee – The Big Sick — Tuesday, Oct. 3 1:30-3:30 p.m. R | 2h | Comedy, Drama, Romance | 14 July 2017. Pakistan-born comedian Kumail Nanjiani and grad student Emily Gardner fall in love but struggle as their cultures clash. When Emily contracts a mysterious illness, Kumail finds himself forced to face her feisty parents, his family’s expectations, and his true feelings.
