Mother Goose Time Wednesday, Oct. 11 10:15-10:45 a.m. Join us for “Mother Goose Time,” a play-based program featuring nursery rhymes, finger plays, songs and books for children from birth to 2 years along with a parent or caregiver.

Preschool Story Time Wednesday, Oct. 11 11:15 a.m. to noon Featuring books, songs, finger plays, and a craft activity. this 45-minute program is for 2-5-year-olds along with a parent or caregiver.

Grades 3-5 Book Club: Wonder by R.J. Palacio Wednesday, Oct. 11 3-4 p.m. We will discuss the book for 45 min. and spend the last 15 min. voting for the next month’s book. Snacks provided! Please register for this program. Books are available at the front desk.

Lego Thursday Drop-In Thursday, Oct. 5 and 12 3-5 p.m. Children of all ages are invited to attend a drop-in session of the informal Lego Club. Build for 20 minutes or for 2 hours! Lego creations are then displayed in the library. Participants 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Dewey’s Readers — Nonfiction That Reads Like Fiction — Wednesday, Oct. 11 6:30-7:30 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 12 3:30-4:30 p.m. The Winter Fortress by Neal Bascomb. From the internationally acclaimed, best-selling author of Hunting Eichmann and The Perfect Mile, an epic adventure and spy story about the greatest act of sabotage in all of World War II. Books are available at the front desk.
