Grades 3-4 Book Club – The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo – Wednesday, Nov. 15 4-5 p.m. Books and sign-ups are available behind the Circulation Desk. Please register so that Miss Lisa knows how many snacks to provide.

Lego Thursday Drop-In Thursday, Nov. 9 and 16 3-5 p.m. Children of all ages are invited to attend a drop-in session of the informal Lego Club. Build for 20 minutes or for 2 hours! Lego creations are then displayed in the library. Participants 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Locked in the Library! An Escape Room Experience for Tweens! Thursday, Nov. 16 6-7:30 p.m. Players are locked in the Meeting Hall and must uncover clues and hidden objects to escape. Fuel up beforehand with some pizza and then spend time with other kids working together to unravel the mystery of the Stargazer’s Manor and save a well-known astronomer by finding clues and solving puzzles. But be careful, in this nail-biting party game, the doors have shut and locked behind you. Will you and your friends be able to solve the mystery and save the astronomer before time runs out? Space is limited to eight (8). Please register online. Must be in grade 5 or up.

Knitting Instruction with Nancy Mowbray Monday, Nov. 13 2-4 p.m. Newcomers and drop-ins are welcome! The Friends of Jamestown Library sponsor this program.

Tuesday Matinee – Step – Tuesday, Nov. 14 1:30-3:30 p.m. Paula Dofat, Blessin Giraldo, Cori Grainger. Step documents the senior year of a girls’ high-school step dance team against the background of inner-city Baltimore.
