Ryan Lager

Ryan Lager, 30, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017.

Born in South Kingstown, he was a son of Wayne Lager of Wakefield and Patricia (Britton) Lager of Jamestown.

Ryan was full of life and his great smile and big heart were at the forefront of his charming personality. His unending tenacity was demonstrated in his ability to achieve a third-degree black belt at Ichiban Karate, where he was a strong role model and mentor.

Ryan enjoyed his work as a skilled carpenter and loved being on the water surfing and fishing.

He made lifelong friends through his welcoming nature, caring spirit and eternal quest to help others. Ryan always filled the room with his bright smile and big brown eyes. His laughter, sense of humor and warmth already are missed by so many friends and his extended family.

In addition to his parents, he leaves a brother, Nicholas Lager of Wakefield.

His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, in Central Baptist Church, 99 Narragansett Ave., Jamestown.

Visiting hours are from 4-8 p.m. Friday in the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home, 825 Boston Neck Road, North Kingstown.
