Mother Goose Time Wednesday, Nov. 29 10:15-10:45 a.m. Join us for “Mother Goose Time,” a play-based program featuring nursery rhymes, finger plays, songs and books for children from birth to 2 years along with a parent or caregiver.

Preschool Story Time Monday, Nov. 27 10:15-11 a.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 29 11:15 a.m. to noon Featuring books, songs, finger plays, and a craft activity. this 45-minute program is for 2-5-year-olds along with a parent or caregiver.

Where Soldiers Come From Sunday, Nov. 26 3-5:pm From a snowy small-town in Northern Michigan to the mountains of Afghanistan and back, Where Soldiers Come From is a documentary that follows the four-year journey of childhood friends forever changed by a faraway war.

Needles Galore Knitting Group Knitting instruction with Nancy Mowbray for beginners and project assistance for the more experienced knitter. Meets from 2-4 p.m. the second and fourth Mondays of the month. Newcomers and drop-ins are welcome. Program sponsored by the Friends of Jamestown Philomenian Library.

Brown Bag Lunch Book Discussion Tuesday, Nov. 28 Noon to 1 p.m. Good Night, Mr. Wodehouse by Faith Sullivan. Nell Stillman’s road is not easy. When her boorish husband dies soon after they move to the small town of Harvester, Minnesota, Nell is alone, penniless yet responsible for her beloved baby boy, Hillyard.
