Gingerbread Castles! Friday, Dec. 15 3-4 p.m. Come decorate your very own Gingerbread Castle at the library! For kids in grades K-4. Please register online as space is limited.

Grades 5-6 Book Club: Maniac Magee by Jerry Spinelli Wednesday, Dec. 20 3-4 p.m. The Giver by Lois Lowry. “Given his lifetime assignment at the Ceremony of Twelve, Jonas becomes the receiver of memories shared by only one other in his community and discovers the terrible truth about the society in which he lives.”

Fused Glass Workshop Thursday, Dec. 14 6-7:30 p.m. Do you still need to get a gift for your loved ones for the holidays? Then sign up for the Fused Glass workshop and create a unique gift! You can turn the glass that you make into a pendant, a magnet, or you can even make it into wire jewelry! This event is open to t(w)eens in grades 5 and up. Registration is mandatory, as space is limited.

Needles Galore Knitting Group Monday, Dec. 18 2-4 p.m. Knitting instruction for beginners and project assistance for the more experienced knitter with Nancy Mowbray. Newcomers and drop-ins are welcome. Free and open to the public. Program sponsored by the Friends of Jamestown Library..
