JAMESTOWN PHILOMENIAN LIBRARY ALL PROGRAMS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Mother Goose Time Wednesday, Dec. 27 10:15-10:45 a.m. Join us for “Mother Goose Time,” a play-based program featuring nursery rhymes, finger plays, songs and books for children from birth to 2 years along with a parent or caregiver.

Preschool Story Time Wednesday, Dec. 27 11:15 a.m. to noon Featuring books, songs, finger plays, and a craft activity. this 45-minute program is for 2-5-year-olds along with a parent or caregiver.

Lego Thursdays Thursday, Dec. 21 and 28 3-5 p.m. Children of all ages are invited to attend a one-hour session of the informal Lego Club. We have a theme each week. Lego creations are then displayed in the library. Participants 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Grades 7 and up Book Club Wednesday, Dec. 27 3-4 p.m. We will be discussing Septimus Heap: Magyk by Angie Sage. “After learning that she is the Princess, Jenna is whisked from her home and carried toward safety by the Extraordinary Wizard, those she always believed were her father and brother, and a young guard known only as Boy 412--pursued by agents of those who killed her mother ten years earlier.”

Tuesday Matinee – Holiday Inn —Tuesday, Dec. 26 1:30-3:30 p.m. PG| 1h 40min | Comedy, Drama, Musical | 1942 Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, Marjorie Reynolds. In this B/W classic film Crosby plays a song and dance man who leaves showbiz to run an inn that is open only on holidays. ‘Tis the season for a most enjoyable film.
