Chorus needs research from World War I era

The Jamestown Community Chorus will host a brainstorming session for its spring production at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 28 at the library, 26 North Road.

The concert, which will reflect music and poetry from 1918, is titled “Over There: A Musical Remembrance of the War to End all Wars.” To prepare for the World War I-era production, the chorus is soliciting community members to share poetry, literature, music, film, historical research, artifacts and information from the era. The May shows will mark the centennial of the war’s ending.

Townspeople with information about the era who cannot attend the meeting can call chorus director B.J. Whitehouse at 423- 1574. Everyone is encouraged to participate.
