WHERE IN THE WORLD?

Beach Avenue’s Lauren and Makenzie Moriarty took The Jamestown Press to the Rock of Cashel in Ireland. Reputedly the site of King Aenghus’ baptism by St. Patrick in the fifth century, the historic complex is known for its collection of Celtic art and medieval architecture. Most of the buildings date from the 12th and 13th centuries when the rock was gifted to the Christian church.
