JAMESTOWN PHILOMENIAN LIBRARY ALL PROGRAMS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

Mother Goose Time Wednesday, Feb. 28 10:15-10:45 a.m. Join us for “Mother Goose Time,” a play-based program featuring nursery rhymes, finger plays, songs and books for children from birth to 2 years along with a parent or caregiver.

Preschool Story Time Monday, Feb. 26 10:15-11 a.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 28 11:15 a.m. to noon Featuring books, songs, finger plays, and a craft activity. this 45-minute program is for 2-5-year-olds along with a parent or caregiver.

Grades 7 and up Book Club – The Speaker: Book Two of Sea of Ink and Gold by Traci Chee. Wednesday, Feb. 28 4-5 p.m. “Sefia and Archer’s adventure continues as Archer searches for a way to combat his nightmares of his time with the impressors and Sefia becomes more and more consumed by her study of the Book”

Brown Bag Lunch Book Club Tuesday, Feb. 27 Noon to 1 p.m. Moonglow – by Michael Chabon. The book chronicles the life of Chabon’s grandfather, a WW2 soldier, engineer and rocket enthusiast who marries a troubled Jewish survivor from France and lives a challenging, wandering life in postwar America.
