Live classical concert at arts center Sunday

The Kingston Chamber Music Festival will celebrate its 30th anniversary during a concert at 4:30 p.m. March 18 at the Jamestown Arts Center, 17 Valley St.

The recital, titled “An Afternoon with Mozart, Schubert and Dvorak,” will feature the festival debut of cellist Sophie Shoa, a past recipient of the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Grant. Led by artistic director and pianist Natalie Zhu, the quartet will perform Dvorak’s 87th opus in Eflat major, string trio by Schubert and Mozart’s piano trio in C major. Also performing will be violinist Gabriela Diaz and violist Melissa Reardon, who is a member of the Grammy-nominated Enso String Quartet.

Admission is $30 at the door. Tickets also can be ordered in advance at the arts center’s website.
