Nicholas (Christopher) Baccari

It is with great sadness that the Baccari and Christopher families share the passing of 25-year-old Nicholas (Christopher) Baccari on March 2, 2018, at home after a long battle with addiction. He was the beloved son of Susan Baccari of Jamestown and Scott Christopher of Charlestown. He is survived by his identical twin brother, Alessandro Baccari, his siblings Dimitri, Antonio, Giancarlo and Isabella Varrecchione, Brooke Christopher and Meghan Doak. He was the stepson of Christopher Varrecchione and Elisabeth Christopher; his grandparents were Richard and Susanne Baccari of Narragansett, and Albert and Anne Christopher of West Kingstown. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Nicholas graduated from North Kingstown High School and attended Dean College. Nicholas worked as a commercial fisherman alongside his dad on his father’s boat the F/V Brooke Elise out of Point Judith. He was known for his huge heart and great bear hugs. He had the most contagious smile and vibrant energy. His kind-hearted nature was loved by all. Nicholas had a passion for sports, hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He was adored by his grandparents where he spent Sundays enjoying family dinners. Nicholas was notorious for movie one-liners and spoiling the ending. Also, he was a loyal New England sports fan, often making his feelings towards the game known from across the house. He was a great listener and was known for his outstanding advice.

Nicholas’ passing will leave a tremendous hole in our hearts but his contagious laugh will be forever remembered. Sweet Nicholas fly with the angels.
