JAMESTOWN PHILOMENIAN LIBRARY ALL PROGRAMS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

The January Grades 5-6 Book Club – The Scourge by Jennifer Nielsen – Wednesday, March 22 3-4 p.m. As a lethal plague sweeps through the land, Ani Mells is shocked when she is unexpectedly captured by the governor’s wardens and forced to submit to a test for the deadly Scourge. She is even more surprised when the test results come back positive, and she is sent to Attic Island, a quarantine colony for the ill. Ani quickly discovers she doesn’t know the whole truth about the Scourge or the Colony. She’s been caught in a devious plot, and, with the help of her best friend, Weevil, Ani means to uncover just what is actually going on.

Children and Tweens Lego Club Thursday, March 15 and 22 3-4 p.m. Children of all ages are invited to attend the Lego Club. We will have a theme each week and build on that theme. We typically build for 50 minutes and spend the last 10 minutes sharing our creations. Participants 7 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Kids after School workshop to welcome Spring Friday March 16 3-4:45 p.m. Painted Spoon Plant Markers – Pick your packet of seeds, paint your marker, and take them both home to start your own fun and fanciful garden. Grades 3 and up. Please register online
