Artists will discuss installation tonight

Artists exhibiting a multimedia installation inspired by nursery rhymes will discuss their display from 6-7 p.m. June 14 at the Jamestown Arts Center, 18 Valley St.

“Four-and-Twenty Blackbirds” is an exhibition by Frenchwoman Constance Slaughter and Japanese artist Maiko Kikuchi. It interprets the 18th century nursery rhyme through sculptures, drawings and animation. It is displayed alongside “Rabbit Holes,” an installation of photography, collages and video about motherhood by Amy Lovera.

The free talk will feature Slaughter and Lovera. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
