Perhaps a Washington image best for East Ferry

To the editor:

Reading about the “Whale’s Tail” hissy fight in The Jamestown Press, it occurred to me an historically appropriate piece of sculpture for the East Ferry site would be George Washington waiting impatiently with his horse for the boat to take him to Newport to meet with Jean-Baptiste Donatien de Vimeur, comte de Rochambeau.
