Savanna O ls en, Second Grade Pilgrims on the Mayflower The pilgrims were risking their lives back when they were alive. Halfway across the seas terrible storms fell upon the Mayflower. Tremendously large waves crashed against the Mayflower's wall continuously for weeks. It was so likely for the Mayflower to break in two. Several pilgrims died. Also several pilgrims got sick too.
