Treehoppers I am reserching treehoppers. A treehopper usese its mouth parts to suck out plant sap. A treehopper looks like a thorny thorn. The treehoppers habitat is a thorny thorn bush. A treehopper protects its self by spraying chemicals and very rarely usese its mouth parts to suck moistre from humun bodys. The first stage of the treehopper life cycle is the egg next is the nimph or the larvae finaly the adult. The female treehopper defends its eggs by buzzing and flaping there wings.
