Whew, it seems like work on Narragansett Avenue has been ongoing for years, and yet it hasn’t. But it was a challenge – well maybe just a bother – to maneuver the road and sidewalks especially during the summer months.
Now that work seems to have been finished, I think it looks beautiful. The sidewalks and crosswalks are a signal to visitors that we want you meandering and spending time in our town. I would like to thank our highway department and any others involved for this work. From what I can see there is only one thing left to do: shop downtown.
