Experience ‘mad science’ at the library

‘Mad Science’ will conduct Invention-ation, a program for children and their families, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 4, in the Jamestown Philomenian Library meeting hall.

This entertaining program shows kids that anyone can be an inventor. Participants will explore problem solving and brainstorming while learning the cool stories behind the invention of everyday objects.

This free program, for children ages 4 and up and their families, is sponsored by the Friends of the Jamestown Library, with additional partners.

Registration is not required.

The event is part of the state’s 2009 children’s summer reading program, “Be Creative @ Your Library.”
