The Rhode Island Division of Motor Vehicles will open its new Middletown Branch on Tuesday, Nov. 1. The new office is located at 238 East Main Road near the intersection with Valley Road. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Road test exams will continue to be given on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All previously scheduled road exams for Middletown will be honored on the same day and at the same time.
In order to facilitate the move to its permanent site, the DMV offi ce at 999 West Main Road will be closed on Monday, Oct. 31.
