Serving underage persons
Peter Pellerin, 36, of West Allenton Road, North Kingstown, was charged Sept. 29 with serving alcohol to underage persons at the PAC Pub. According to police, with assistance from two 19-year-old subjects, the JPD conducted an underage alcohol survey at all Jamestown restaurants and bars, and the bartender at the PAC served the two 19-year-olds beer without checking their IDs. An arraignment was scheduled for Nov. 18 at 2nd Division District Court in Newport.
Suspended license
Chrisopher Petrocelli, 25, of Pettaquamscott Avenue, Narragansett, was charged Nov. 5 with driving with a suspended license. The defendant was held at the police station and was released with a summons. An arraignment was scheduled for Nov. 18 at 2nd Division District Court in Newport.
Multiple charges
Chrisopher Petrocelli, 25, of Pettaquamscott Avenue, Narragansett, was charged Nov. 11 with driving with a suspended license, possession of a weapon other than a firearm, and receiving stolen goods. After a traffic stop on North Main Road, it was learned that his driver’s license was revoked. According to police, the officer located a sword and a woman’s wallet not belonging to the operator during a vehicle inventory prior to it being towed. The defendant was held at the police station and was released after being arraigned by a justice of the peace. A re-arraignment was scheduled for Nov. 18 at 2nd Division District Court in Newport.
Warrant violation
Mary E. Bennett, 43, of Conanicus Avenue, was charged Nov. 14 with a bench warrant violation from 6th District Court for failure to appear for a suspended license from the Cumberland Police Department. The defendant was held at the police station and transported to 2nd Division District Court in Newport.
