The chamber of commerce is sponsoring an ugly-sweater parade that will step off at 11 a.m. Dec. 17 from the fire station, 50 Narragansett Ave.
People should dress in their ugliest, funniest or most amazing holiday sweater, and the procession will march to the East Ferry waterfront. After the parade rounds Veterans Memorial Square, the parade will continue to the recreation center for a fashion show on stage where the audience will vote for the best sweaters.
Registration is not needed.
