Jenny Lathan took The Jamestown Press to Ponta Delgada, which is the capital of the Azores, a Portuguese archipelago that comprises nine main islands. Ponta Delgada is on the largest of those islands, Sao Miguel. She is pictured in downtown Ponta Delgada where the first discoverers of the Azores arrived.
