Rabies-feared calf causes no public threat

The results of an animal autopsy performed on the brown calf that was housed in the pen adjacent to Gray’s Ice Cream in Tiverton that was euthanized on July 26, showed no evidence that the calf posed any public health threat. State receives money to upgrade vets cemetery

The state Division of Veterans Affairs has recently been awarded a grant of almost $658,000 for the construction of a new columbarium at the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery.
